南京大學生命科學學院2022年招聘公告

 一、院系介紹

南京大學生命科學學院起源于1914年成立的金陵大學農科和秉志先生于1921年創(chuàng)立的南京高等師范學校（國立東南大學）生物系，1992年成院，是我國大學第一個生物系，也是國內歷史最悠久的生命科學研究與教學機構之一。百年來，學院秉承實事求是的科學精神、嚴謹求實的學術作風、勤奮進取的治學傳統(tǒng)，為國家培養(yǎng)了大批杰出人才，60多位兩院院士曾在此學習和工作。

學院擁有一支高素質的師資隊伍，現(xiàn)有教授(研究員)53人，副教授47人，長江學者獎勵計劃特聘教授8人、“國家杰出青年基金”獲得者11人、“國家級青年人才計劃”入選者4 人、“國家優(yōu)秀青年基金”獲得者7人、“教育部跨/新世紀人才”19人、江蘇特聘教授1人、國家自然科學基金委創(chuàng)新研究群體1個，“教育部長江學者和創(chuàng)新團隊發(fā)展計劃”創(chuàng)新團隊2個。

二、招聘崗位設置

南京大學生命科學學院擬面向全球招聘有志于從事生命科學學科各主要研究方向的優(yōu)秀青年人才到學院工作。本次擬招聘崗位以準聘助理教授為主，崗位總數(shù)不超過6人。特別優(yōu)秀的候選人，也可應聘準聘副教授/長聘副教授/長聘教授崗位。研究方向包括：生物化學與分子生物學；植物、動物生理學；遺傳與進化生物學；生態(tài)學；生物技術與藥學。具體崗位如下：

（1）生物化學與分子生物學；

（4）生態(tài)學；

Tenure-Track/Tenured Faculty Openings

Department of Life Sciences, Nanjing University, China

 1.   The Department

The Nanjing University School of Life Sciences was originated from the agriculture science (founded in 1914) in Jinling University and the biology department (founded in 1920) of Nanjing Advanced Normal College (National Southeast University) founded in 1921 by Mr. Bingzhi. It was established in 1992. It is the first department of Biology in universities of china and one of the oldest life science research and teaching institutions in China. Over the past 100 years, adhering to the scientific spirit of seeking truth from facts, the academic style of being rigorous and realistic, and the tradition of diligent and enterprising research, the College has trained a great number of outstanding talents for the country. More than 60 academicians of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Sciences have studied and worked here.

The college has a high-quality teaching staff, including 53 professors (researchers) and 47 associate professors. 8 professors have been selected as distinguished professors of Cheung Kong Scholars Program, 11 professors were supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China for Distinguished Young Scholars, 4 professors were selected to be supported by the National Young Talents Program, 7 people were supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China for Excellent Young Scientists, 19 New Century-Talent scheme scholars and 1 distinguished professor of Jiangsu Province. The research teams have set up one innovative research group supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and two innovation teams in " Cheung Kong Scholars and Innovation Team Development Program of the Ministry of Education".

2.   Description of Openings

Nanjing University School of Life Sciences plans to recruit outstanding young talents from all over the world who are interested in the major research fields of life sciences to work in the School. We plan to recruit 6 tenure-track assistant professors，outstanding candidates can also apply for tenure-track associate professor/ tenured associate professors/ tenured professors. Research interests include: Biochemistry and molecular biology; Plant and animal physiology; Genetic and Evolutionary Biology; Ecology; Biotechnology and pharmacy. Specific positions are as follows :(1) biochemistry and molecular biology; (2) Plant and animal Physiology; (3) Genetics and Evolutionary Biology; (4) Ecology; (5) Biotechnology and Pharmacy.

3.   Qualifications

(1) Abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China, and show enthusiasm in teaching and research;

(2) Abide by academic ethics, no criminal record,  no record of violating teacher morality and\]fessional ethics;

(3) Possess a doctorate degree in relevant disciplines, study and work experience in a first-class teaching and scientific research institution, and familiar with international cutting-edge research trends in the relevant field;

(4) Excellent teaching ability: Should be competent in teaching core basic courses and cutting-edge courses of the major, master good teaching methods, and have strong language expression ability;

(5) Outstanding display of scientific research achievements and future development potential of scientific research, including the display of achievements in relevant research direction, original discovery in relevant research field, clear thinking of future research plan, and excellent academic ability.
